This design had to ensure the terrace was inviting for residents while detering the unwanted pigeons
The requirement was to deter persistent herring gulls from nesting which has proved successful
Stainless steel gull spikes are affective against both herring gulls and pigeons.
In high pressure areas it is sometimes necessary to screen the front of the building to deter persistent pigeons from nesting and fouling on residents outdoor space.
